With thick paper/cardboard inner sleeve with printed lyrics & band photo. Marketed by United Artists
ELO albums were originally distributed by United Artists's. However Jet, the record company and the band sued United Artists for producing 'defective' copies of Out Of The Blue, and using an escape clause moved to CBS in May 1978, where the LP was repressed without the defects.

Jet records then proceeded to re-issue all the ELO albums and some ELO singles using CBS as a distributer.

Jet records then proceeded to re-issue all the ELO albums and some ELO singles using CBS as a distributor but at first still using the old UAR record labels until a new Jet / CBS label and a new brighter design with the yellow light beam over the pink light beam was designed.

As A New World Record was still in production and in the charts, Jet initially continued to use the United Artists printed sleeves and record labels.
Plus Jet catalogue number stickers were placed over the album cover UA catalogue number.

This continued until new CBS labels and a new brighter design
was used and the UAG 30017 was dropped after the Jet LP 200.

1st re-issues used Catalogue Number JETLP 200 / UAG 30017 with yellow & white light beams on the label. Early issues had the LP title above the ELO name.

2nd re-issues used used Catalogue Number JETLP 200 with yellow & white light beams on the label.

3rd re-issues used used Catalogue Number JETLP 200 with yellow & pink light beams on the label.

Versions of all re-issues of A New World Record were issued with a ELO logo label on Side 2 of the album.

With thick paper/cardboard inner sleeve with angle cut top and printed lyrics & band photo. Distributed by CBS
After the distributor change was to CBS on May 5th 1978, it may have been that Jet/CBS pressings took their time to get manufactured. So a number of Holland pressed JET LP 200 records (as below) may have been imported and sold in UK sleeves in UK record shops.
