Notes
1st Original Issued in a tri-fold out gatefold sleeve with white inner sleeve.
The first LP to be recorded without input from Roy Wood and from this album on, the definite "The" was dropped from the band's name.

On this original issue, Side 2, Dreaming of 4000 was listed as I'm Only Dreaming on the label.
Early "test pressings" were put in a "printing draft" of the tri cover that ended up looking like over sized poster sleeve, as below. Info & photo credits Patrik Guttenbacher - Face The Music Germany.

Jet / UAG Re-Issue 1977 as Jet Records bought the rights of the Warner Brother Issued Albums.
Jet label with yellow/white light beams. With thick paper/cardboard inner sleeve with printed lyrics. Marketed by United Artists
ELO albums were originally distributed by United Artists's. However Jet, the record company and the band sued United Artists for producing 'defective' copies of Out Of The Blue, and using an escape clause moved to CBS in May 1978, where the LP was repressed without the defects.

Jet records then proceeded to re-issue all the ELO albums and some ELO singles using CBS as a distributor but at first still using the old UAR record labels until a new Jet / CBS label and a new brighter design with the yellow light beam over the pink light beam was designed.
