In the US, the album was released as Electric Light Orchestra II in a different sleeve, as the "Space-pussy-shot" sleeve from Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy was too hot for the USA...
The first editions came without the lyrics, instead it came with a double sided printed inner sleeve with liner notes, by Greg Shaw of Phonograph Record Magazine, in cyan blue text on a light blue background.
The second edition in May 1973 (3 months later) came with blue tinted paper inner sleeve with lyrics and the liner notes printed in cyan blue text.

At the end of 1976 there was a dark blue text version on a white back ground of the inner sleeve.

There are at least 3 different label variations.

Plus pressings with slight differences in track/publication credits, text fonts used, gaps between the lines of text, rim text and placement of ® symbol.
